Customer Service Experience with Tokina 100mm Lens

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

My new Tokina 100mm lens had an autofocusing problem and I had to contact the customer service department. Contacting them was a bit confusing because Tokina is a company that changed hands several times. They do however make everything clear on their website on how to get in touch with their personnel in case anything happen to your equipment. I followed the instruction carefully on their website and sent my lens in for repair. To my surprise, their response is pretty quick. All my issues were handled carefully and with good professionalism. I would definitely buy again from them given this kind of customer service. The lens that I got is now perfect. The autofocus works great without any problem and I am enjoying every moment that I spend with this lens. If you want to get this lens but are afraid of the customer service, do not be afraid.

Wasting My Time at Work

Tuesday, March 8th, 2011

I am placing an order for new name badges for magnetic name badges that I need for my business. I was wondering if anyone has tried ordering name badges from these different name badge and name tag companies that you find on the search engines. I found one called www.namebadgesinc.com that I really like using. They have a really nice design tool that I am using to upload my name badges and they allow you to pick any type of name badge that they have on the site. They allow you to upload a logo, and place up to three lines of text. The design tool is nice because you can drag and click your logo and resize it to the size and shape that you want it on the name badge. You can also drag and click your lines of text on the design tool to place it where you want it.

Trash the Dress- Have Fun

Thursday, December 23rd, 2010

The concept of “Trash the Dress” was an idea created by a Las Vegas photographer who enjoyed taking cool pictures of the brides. He didn’t have much clue that his idea would become so popular all over the world. The idea is to take unusual photos of the bride in her wedding dress at places which are otherwise not chosen for photo shoots. The dress may become spoiled and useless but it’s the fun part of it. Anyway brides don’t wear their wedding dresses again. Instead of putting it on a shelf, they can opt to use it for taking these photographs which would stand out in the beautiful wedding album. It is almost like a fusion of fashion and movies. World over the concept is gaining so much popularity and brides are all ready to trash without much fuss. It’s a great way of saying goodbye to the dress.

Why Art Is The Spice Of Life

Friday, July 9th, 2010

I love art very much and though I’m not an artist myself still whenever I visit an art gallery I devote myself some time to study the arts displayed in the gallery, as well as have many canvas art prints of the great classics on my walls at home. There are different styles in art and the artists display their feelings very beautifully and innovatively through their art. Sometimes it appears as if the real inner feelings are projected through the art. Some use bright colors where as some others use dull colors to display their work. During my visit to Mumbai since I’m very fond of Art I had visited the Jehangir Art Gallery and spent a day there to see the various arts displayed. I was really dumbfounded to see the various types of art displayed including the modern art. It takes some of time to look and appreciate an art, however there are times you will just love to own it.
